About GPTG

Grove Parent Teacher Group (GPTG) is a fully volunteer board and 100% of the profits go directly to support our students and their educational endeavors.

  • PRESIDENT SUSAN KUNZ

Susan has been a part of a Montessori family since her son Nathaniel was 2 1/2 years old - he is now a senior and this will be her last year at The Grove!  She loves their teaching philosophy as well as their overall principles of being kind to others and caring for not only ourselves, but the world we live in.  For Susan, serving as President is an honor that allows her to give back to a wonderful community.  Last year, she joined the GPTG as treasurer, giving her the great pleasure of meeting new parents and helping to bring The Grove community back together after such a long year and a half of online learning.

  • VICE PRESIDENT DAMIAN HOBSON

Damian’s strong support for the Montessori Method began when his son entered the toddler program at Montessori in Redlands. As his son Getty enters his eighth grade year here at The Grove School, Damian looks forward to helping support the school and grow parent involvement. Look out! When he’s not asking you to volunteer for the school, he can be found playing hockey, listening to music, and tending to his avocado trees.

  • TREASURER CRAIG SEAL

Craig and Prae are the parents of Will (9th grade).  They have been in Redlands for over 10 years.  Craig works as a professor of management at California State University, San  Bernardino.  His wife is an amazing cook (specializing in baking and ethnic cuisine) and his son is volunteering at the Veterans Administration.  They have a 4-year old pug, named ‘Buddy’, who has extreme separation anxiety since being with everyone through Covid!  This past summer they took a trip to Zion National Park and Antelope Canyon.

  • SECRETARY JESSICA MORGAN

Jessica Morgan is mom to Joey (11th grade).  This is her first year working with the PTG.  Her goal is to increase communication and parental involvement.  Jessica serves as an Outdoor Ambassador with the Redlands Conservancy and can be found riding her bikes or walking the local trails with her 100 pound mutt extraordinaire, Mr. Duke.  She is also a published poet, photographer, and multimedia artist.

  • FUNDRAISING CHAIR JAMIE MACKNET

Jamie Macknet is mom to Jeralyn (11th grade), Gracelyn (7th grade) and bonus-mom to international student Anders Sandholm (9th grade).  This is her 5th year working with the GPTG in some capacity or another and loving it!   When Jamie isn't working on GPTG projects, you'll find her working with all things endocrine, floral arranging, painting, crocheting, event planning, playing with her dogs, or connecting with friends.

  • PARENT REPRESENTATIVE TIFFANY SCHALL

Tiffany Schall is a mom of two children, Bobby (10th grade) and Wendi (college student).  She is new to The Grove Parent Teacher Group, but has been volunteering with parent groups for 10 years. She has a great place in her heart for children and their needs.  In her spare time, she is a U.S. Navy wife who enjoys watching movies and doing fun activities with her family.
